Miss Universe 2021 – Harnaaz Sandhu and Plan India are committed to ensuring menstrual equity for all girls in the country. 62% of young women and girls of India do not have access to safe menstrual care. Plan India is committed to changing this situation.

Miss Universe 2021 – Harnaaz Sandhu, the Miss Universe Organization (MUO), social entrepreneur Arunachalam Muruganantham aka Pad Man, social impact agency DDB For Good and Plan India has entered into a coalition to advance menstrual equity globally.

Support us to create measurable impact in India in 3 areas

a. Ensure that girls and women get access to menstruation products

b. Raising awareness and educating girls and women to bring about behavior change towards safe menstruation practices

c. Educate and engage with men and boys to reduce the stigma associated with menstruation

All donations to Plan India are eligible for 50% tax exemption u/s 80G(5) of the Income Tax Act, 1961.
