We commit ourselves to advancing rights, equality and justice for all children in India, specifically girls and young women through strategic, rights based and gender transformative interventions on education, youth economic empowerment, sexual reproductive health and rights, gender based violence, nutrition and disaster risk management. In doing so, we keep in frame and contribute to India’s SDG commitments and annual targets. We adopt a holistic, life cycle approach to focus on girls and young women from the most disadvantaged families and communities who are more likely to experience multiple deprivations and rights violations including access to government sponsored schemes and services. Our aim is to catalyse the leadership and agency of 10 million girls from poor and disadvantaged communities to accelerate the social movement for girls’ rights, thus ensuring that 10 million girls and young women are able to learn, lead, decide and thrive.
