JOB/ROLE OVERVIEW

The incumbent would be on-the-ground focal point for the implementation of Project activities in the assigned location and the theme.

The frontline worker will have to undertake all the theme and assign key responsibilities related activities and ensure coordination between communities and Plan India project teams for smooth execution of gender transformative programs aligned with Plan India’ purpose of ensuring Girls is empowered to take actions and get equal.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES OR MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

The Samagra Bal Vikas Mitra (SBVM) is responsible for implementing project activities at the community level and mobilizing children, adolescents, and families for active participation. The role focuses on facilitating access to education, health, protection, climate change and livelihood opportunities while strengthening community linkages. Additionally, the SBVM ensures proper data management, documentation, and adherence to safeguarding and organizational policies during project implementation.

Key Responsibilities: –

Ensure adherence to safeguarding policies, Plan’s values, and the Code of Conduct in all daily activities.
Deliver project activities in the assigned target locations (surveyed households and communities) with quality and effectiveness.
Facilitate the formation/reconstitution of groups or change agents as per the project framework.
Develop and implement work plans in consultation with the Line Manager.
Support and facilitate community and group meetings with adolescents, parents, and other stakeholders as per the project plan.
Organize project activities in the assigned communities, ensuring inclusive participation of all sections of the population.
Maintain proper documentation, including daily diary, line listing, meeting registers, monthly reports, and case studies/success stories with testimonials.
Ensure timely and accurate data entry in PMIS/MIS systems.
Conduct assessments and manage data as per project requirements.
Maintain rapport with local bodies, community leaders, and other stakeholders.
Identify and engage key community and project stakeholders to facilitate effective solutions.
Strengthen referral linkages to enable access to government schemes and services.
Facilitate donor visits and official visits as required.
Work collaboratively as part of a team and undertake additional responsibilities as assigned.
Ensure adherence to DPDP compliance while handling participant data and documentation.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

Graduate with at least 4-5 years of experience, working in underserved urban communities.
Sensitive in dealing with children and young people in communities and schools.
Good in execution of assigned tasks, and responsibilities.
Basic knowledge of computer
Able to work independently with minimum supervision.
Should be pro–active in understanding community’s needs and problems as well as aspirations.
Good communication and writing skills, at least in Hindi. English language will be an added advantage.
Knowledge of new-age career opportunities.
Preference will be given to candidates who live in the local community with relevant work experience.

TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS: 100%in the assigned location and within Delhi.
