Level Of Contact With Children: 2 (Sporadic or Occasional contact with children)
The position holder shall be responsible to adhere & work within the ambit of Plan India’s Safeguarding & Gender Equality Policies.

BRIEF ABOUT PROJECT:
This project is being implemented in select geographies identified in consultation with NACO. The project aims to reach out to KP community groups (LGBTIQ+, People who inject/use drugs, People/Children living with HIV and women in Sex Work); and their social and sexual partners; at-risk adolescents and youth.
Responsibilities:
1. Technical Support:
-
- Collaborate with project teams and stakeholders to provide technical assistance in the planning, design, and implementation of the program.
- Stay updated on the latest developments, guidelines, and best practices related to public health interventions and relevant areas.
- Assist in developing and reviewing project strategies, work plans, and budgets in alignment with Global Fund guidelines and National health policies.
2. Monitoring and Evaluation:

- Assist in monitoring project progress vis-à-vis expected objectives, utilizing tools and methods developed by Plan India, and ensuring effective utilisation of resources, as well as, compliance with donor requirements.
- Support the development and implementation of monitoring and evaluation frameworks for project activities.
- Help in collecting, analysing, and interpreting data to measure project performance and outcomes.
- Contribute to regular progress reports and ensure timely submission to the Global Fund and other relevant stakeholders.
3. Capacity Building:

- Organize and participate in training workshops, seminars, and capacity-building sessions for project staff and partners.
- Promote knowledge sharing and best practices across the project teams to enhance their skills and understanding of project objectives.
4. Financial and Administrative Support:
-
- Assist in financial management activities, including budget tracking, expense verification, and preparation of financial reports.
- Coordinate logistical arrangements for project events, workshops, and meetings.
5. Compliance and Documentation:
-
- Ensure compliance with the Global Fund’s regulations, guidelines, and reporting requirements.
- Ensure accurate and up-to-date progress reports.
6. Stakeholder Engagement:
-
- Collaborate with NACO/other line Departments and all other development partners working on HIV related issues with H/TG, PWUD/PWID, PLHIV and Sex Workers.
- To facilitate effective communication and collaboration among project stakeholders.
- Assist the SR partners and ensure high-quality work plans, accurate reports, and other mandated deliveries as per Global Fund norms and procedures.
7. Quality Assurance:

- To conduct field visits to program geographies, in order to ensure high standards of program activities and adherence to evidence-based approaches.
8. Perform other relevant duties as and when required.
Required Skills and Experience
-
- Education:
- Master’s Degree or equivalent in Medical and/or Public Health or related field.
- Experience:
- 8+ years of professional experience in leading and implementing development programs focused on HIV/AIDS;
- Knowledge of and experience with management of donor-funded agreements or contracts;

- f. Strong negotiating and conflict resolutions skills;
- g. Willingness to travel to project sites within India, as needed.
- Technical Skills
- a. Strong experience in HIV & AIDS and related issues;
- b. Strong knowledge and understanding of donor policies and regulations;
- c. Experience of working with key populations in India;
- d. High competence in using common desktop applications and internal systems.
- People Management
- a. Demonstrated proficiency in supervising partners, including providing honest feedback;
- b. Should be a self-starter and a team player, with ability to mentor others.
