As part of the community outreach, Plan India’s response focuses on communicating public health information, distributing hygiene kits, dry ration kits and personal protective equipment (PPE) while ensuring that the needs and rights of girls and young women are addressed. The humanitarian response started in nine states including – Bihar, Delhi, Jharkhand, Odisha, Rajasthan, Maharashtra, Telengana, Uttar Pradesh, and Uttarakhand, with an aim to reach up to 200,000 people.
