PROJECT OVERVIEW
The Global Fund is supporting “Intensified Malaria Elimination Project-III (IMEP-III)” for the grant period April 2024 – March 2027 within the existing framework of National Center for Vector Borne Diseases Control (NCVBDC). Under the IMEP-3 grant, PLAN INDIA has been selected as Sub-Recipient to work in High endemic districts for the states of Odisha and Tripura.
SUMMARY OF THE OVERALL JOB
Reporting to Finance Manager, the Finance officer will be responsible for day to day activities of financial management and provide all support to Finance Manager including other team members on the grant. S/he will provide financial management support on various aspects of financial, documents review and audit. S/he will be responsible for day to day-to-day financial activities.
KEY FUNCTIONS / RESPONSIBILITIES
Finance Officer will work in closely with other finance team to ensure that the project financial activities are executed on time and will be responsible for the following major activities:
1. Receive and acknowledge the periodic claims along with supporting documents from filed teams, vendors etc;
2. Coordinate/ Follow with program team to provide all supporting documents to process the payment;
3. Process the payment of vendors, staff at Plan India ICO level and field teams after reviewing all supporting documents required ;
4. Ensure that the financial documents of grant are well organised and maintain for audit purposes;
5. Review the internal controls and related systems.
6. Perform all other responsibilities as delegated by the supervisor and Finance Manager.
