PROJECT OVERVIEW
Plan India has been selected as Sub Recipient by National AIDS Control Program under Global Fund grant cycle for the period from 1st April 2024 to 31st March 2027 (GC7) for “Strengthening strategic communication to enhance the delivery of HIV prevention to care continuum programs”. As part of this initiative, Plan India has to develop and deliver different communication packages including SBCC toolkit, Multimedia Campaign strategy and creatives, organising national events, developing and designing NACO’s publications and managing Social Media campaigns. For undertaking this project, the team at Plan India has onboarded communication agency and vendors for the project period.
JOB SUMMARY
The role involves close collaboration with NACO, SACS, and partner agencies to develop and implement annual action plans, ensure effective communication and visibility of program outcomes, and strengthen documentation and knowledge-sharing processes. The position plays a vital role in ensuring that research insights, evaluation findings, and communication outputs contribute to strategic decision-making and align with program objectives.
KEY FUNCTIONS / RESPONSIBILITIES
- Prepare high-quality reports, briefs, and documentation highlighting program achievements, lessons learned, and best practices.
- Develop communication materials, including success stories, and digital content.
- Coordinate the documentation and promotion of program outcomes through various communication channels.
- Support data-driven decision-making by ensuring transparent documentation and reporting processes.
- Coordination with NACO and SACS for having Annual action plan, and national and state level events.
- Foster strong communication channels between stakeholders to promote alignment and timely information exchange.
- Support data collection, analysis, and synthesis of research and evaluation findings.
- Contribute to the development of knowledge products for internal and external dissemination.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
- Graduation/Master’s degree in Public Health, Social Sciences, Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
- 2- 5 years of experience in market/communication research, program documentation, or a related area.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and present actionable insights.
- Excellent writing and editing skills, with experience in creating engaging content for diverse audiences.
- Proficiency in relevant software and tools for data analysis, documentation, and design.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
- Knowledge of public health issues, particularly related to HIV/AIDS, is highly desirable
