Level Of Contact With Children: 2 – (Sporadic & Occasional contact with children)
The position holder shall be responsible to adhere & work within the ambit of Plan India’s Safeguarding & Gender Equality Policies.

BRIEF ABOUT PROJECT:

The project aims to reach out to as many members of the KP community groups (People with Trans-feminine and Trans-masculine identities, People who inject/use drugs, People/Children living with HIV and women in Sex Work); and their social and sexual partners; at-risk adolescents and youth and PLHIV and their children.

Roles and Responsibilities:

The Documentation Manager will work closely with the Plan India Global Fund team, and support in program documentation and reporting.

      • Develop and implement effective program related communication strategies.
      • Develop communications materials and collaterals related to small and large-scale events, including branding, website, messaging, talking points, PowerPoint slides, and print materials.
      • Interact with beneficiaries in the field and SR partners, to understand, document and compile all the program reacted best practices/success stories.
      • Respond to all communications in a timely manner and keep a record of all communications, and evidence of meetings such as photos, PPTs and videos.
      • Create social media content and for posting on different media handles of the organization and drive program awareness through social media campaigns. Coordinate with various virtual platforms for HIV related navigation of services.
      • Prepare detailed Media Reports & ensure social media coverage of important events, partnership announcements, promotions and others.
      • Ensure quality documentation and reporting.
      • Perform transcription and conversion work from online meetings.
      • Ensure complete confidentiality in managing confidential documents, and manage document recovery.

Required Skills and Experience :

      • Education:
        • Master’s Degree or Diploma in Mass Communication/ Public Health/Social Science and related fields.
      • Experience:
        • 5+ years of professional experience in development programs focused on health, nutrition, HIV programs HIV/AIDS;
        • Strong knowledge and understanding of donor policies and regulations;
        • Experience of working with key populations in India;

• Ability to sustain interpersonal and professional relationships with internal colleagues and contacts in donor and partner organizations;

• Excellent written and oral communication skills, including the ability to effectively present complex ideas to diverse audiences;

• Ability to multitask with ease, adapting to frequently changing priorities;

• Willingness to travel to project sites within India, as needed.

• Competence in using common desktop applications and internal systems.

• Should be a self-starter and a team player, with ability to mentor others.
