Level of Contact with Children: 2 (Sporadic & Occasional contact with children) The position holder shall be responsible to adhere & working within the ambit of Plan India’s Safeguarding & Gender Equality Policies.

About Project:
Plan India has been working for over 40 years with most vulnerable communities. This has helped Plan to understand the ground realities and the magnitude of the issues faced by children, especially girts. The problem is so deep and rampant that it is required that each individual is sensitised about. It to take initiatives at their own level. Plan India took initiative to sensitise people about the child / girls right. In view of that a project has been initiated in the name of GOODNESS INITIATIVE. With the help of this project, Plan India team will connect with the individual to sensitise them about the child rights, especially the challenges faced by girls.
Job Purpose:
The Project Officer will be responsible to connect with the individual to make them aware about the Goodness Initiatives project and how they can be part of the this initiative by supporting the cause. The job holder is required to convince individuals to visit Plan India’s projects, provide volunteer services so that they get the understanding about ground reality and challenges faced by children & Young girls.
Nature & Scope:
The incumbent would be building strong relationships with the individual to make them sensitise about the children / girls rights and their vulnerable conditions.
Key Accountabilities:
- To build strong relationships with individual to make them aware about child rightsIncrease confidence and trust so that they understand the ground reality and contribute to the society with their own initiatives
- To establish good relationships & plan field visit for individuals to show them the vulnerability of the children and how Plan program are changing their lives
- To document success stories of the projects and share it with the individuals to motivate them to participate in the campaign and activities organised by Plan Project teams in the field. Nurturing the bond between individual and Plan India through regular interactions resulting in a long-term relationship with Plan work and the issues of girls and young women in India.
- Overseeing the guiding new team members through structured training program and strategic execution planning.
- Provide daily monitoring, guidance and mentoring to new joiners to ensure smooth onboarding and performance improvement
- Lead engagement with individuals and capacity-building initiatives that includes awareness sessions, impact-sharing meetings, and structured engagement programs to encourage long-term commitment and increased support from the individuals.
