Daughter’s Diary is a month long editorial campaign initiated by Dainik Jagran in association with Plan India to publish articles on issues affecting girls like safety, aspirations, gender equality, women in society, fight against injustice, etc. These are personalised stories as narrated by the girls between the age of 17-24 years.

The stories will appear in 21 editions of Dainik Jagran across Delhi, Uttar Pradesh, Haryana, Punjab, Jharkhand and Bihar.

The campaign started on Sept 10 and will culminate on International Day of the Girl (October 11).

Partnership with Dainik Jagran

Plan India and Dainik Jagran has had a strategic partnership since 2014. Plan India is the knowledge partner of Dainik Jagran’s esteemed campaign - Janhit Jagran. Janhit Jagran promotes social enterprise and Plan India plays a crucial role in advocating for education and women's empowerment in partnership.

In Oct 2016, a girl from Plan India’s community took over the office of Dainik Jagran’s Editor of Delhi/NCR to mark International Day of the Girl.
