Job Title: Creative Designer
Department: Program Implementation
Location: New Delhi
Reporting to: Chief of Party
Contract Duration: 11 months

Level of Contact with Children: 2 (Sporadic or Occasional contact with children)
The position holder shall be responsible to adhere & work within the ambit of Plan India’s Safeguarding & Gender Equality Policies.

KEY FUNCTIONS / RESPONSIBILITIES

    Visual Design & Brand Alignment

    • Tour for at least 10 days in a month for field supervision
    • Ensure all designs are consistent with donor requirements and Plan India’s brand identity andcommunication guidelines.
    • Adapt existing templates and create new layouts that are visually appealing and message-driven.
  1. Innovation & Creative Strategy
    • Bring in fresh ideas and innovative approaches to visual storytelling, including use of interactivetools, digital platforms, and user-friendly formats.
    • Collaborate with teams to develop creative concepts for campaigns, events, and programvisibility initiatives.
    • Integrate multimedia elements, motion graphics, or interactive formats wherever relevant.
  2. Technology & Tools Integration
    • Utilize latest design software (Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, Figma, etc.) and tools to streamlineand improve design efficiency.
    • Explore and recommend tech-based solutions for effective communication, such as microsites, animated presentations, or digital brochures.

ELIGIBILITY

  • Degree in Design or related field
  • 5+ years’ experience in designing.
  • Skilled in Adobe Creative Suite CC (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, After Effects, Premiere, etc.), CorelDraw, Microsoft PowerPoint and Microsoft Word
  • Knowledge of production of UI/UX designing
  • Task-oriented nature and ability to manage multiple assignments and timelines
  • Ability to visualize and lead projects within multicultural contexts, especially in the development sector
  • Ability to understand current visual design trends and anticipate new avenues to increase Plan India’s visibility
