The Child Centered Community Development approach and more
Plan uses a Child Centred Community Development approach that puts a child at the core of all activities through their families and communities. Since its very inception, active participation of the community for long term sustainability has been the base of all Plans’ programmes.
Innovative programmes like Enrolment of Children in Child media programme is just one of the many initiatives undertaken by Plans for children. Such programmes have helped children to act as 'development actors' where they participate, voice their opinions, and are not just only passive recipients of aid.
Proper use of funds
Funds raised by Plan are used exactly for the purpose for which they were raised in the first place - for the improvement of children lives. Plans’ financial transactions are transparent and almost 80 % of funds go directly to programs.
