Quality Education:


Quality education is every child’s right and the link between quality education and children realizing their full potential is well established. The 86th amendment to the constitution of India  included article 21A –which said that . The State shall provide free and compulsory education to all children of the age of six to fourteen years in such manner as the State may, by law, determine." However, studies indicate that 13470000 children, out of school. Therefore, within the broad framework of Education for All and Millennium Development Goals, Plan will prioritize its work on:

• Achieving access to early childhood care and education.

• Securing the provision of quality universal free primary education.

• Promoting equal educational opportunities for girls.

• Supporting the development of accountability within schools to deliver inclusive and    quality education.

• Facilitating participation of children and parents in the school system to ensure    education for all.

• Networking and campaigning on educational issues at the national and international    levels.
